Making Pancakes with this Mix:Makes 8 Pancakes at ⅓ Cup Batter EachIngredients
1 ⅔ Cup homemade bulk pancake mix
1 ¼ Cup buttermilk
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (plus more for the griddle if needed)
1 large egg
InstructionsStep 1. Sift the pancake mix into a medium mixing bowl.Step 2. Add the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.Step 3. Heat a griddle or skillet to medium heat. Once preheated, spray with non-stick cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.Step 4. Reduce heat to low. Pour about ⅓ cup batter for each pancake.Step 5. Let cook until the pancake easily lifts from the pan without being too floppy or sticking. This will take about 3 minutes, depending on your stove. Repeat for the other side and remove from the pan.
