Fantasy Fudge Recipe

This is the original Fantasy Fudge recipe straight from the back of the Kraft marshmallow creme jar. Made with simple pantry ingredients, this smooth and creamy chocolate fudge is a timeless favorite for Christmas baking, holiday gifts, and family traditions.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup butter
  • cup evaporated milk
  • 12- ounce package semi-sweet morsels
  • 7- ounce jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Line a 9”x9” pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat sugar, butter, and evaporated milk over medium-low heat until boiling.
    3 cups granulated sugar, ¾ cup butter, ⅔ cup evaporated milk
  • Continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and add morsels and marshmallow cream. Stir until completely combined. Fold in vanilla and walnuts.
    12- ounce package semi-sweet morsels, 7- ounce jar marshmallow cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • Pour into prepared pan. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour and cut into squares.

Notes

Storage and Freezing:
Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Freeze fudge by wrapping it in saran wrap and storing it in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
