Baked Brie Recipe With Jam

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • ½ cup raspberry jam or your favorite jam
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme or rosemary
  • 2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts optional
  • Honey for drizzling optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet or small cast iron skillet with parchment paper.
  • Place the brie wheel on the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the top rind feels soft to the touch but the brie wheel still holds its shape.
  • Carefully remove the brie from the oven and use the parchment paper to transfer it to a serving platter.
  • Spoon the raspberry jam over the top of the cheese. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and drizzle with honey if desired. Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary for an elegant touch.
  • Pair with baguette slices, apple slices, or favorite crackers. Enjoy the melty brie cheese while it’s warm! Place a serrated knife on the serving platter so that your guests can cut the top rind and get to the melty cheese inside.

Notes

Storage and Freezing Instructions
If you have leftovers, cover the brie with plastic wrap or transfer it to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat the baked brie in a 300°F oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is warmed through.
Although baked brie is best enjoyed fresh, you can freeze the unbaked brie wheel. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, followed by aluminum foil, and freeze for up to 1 month. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
