10-12 ounce bag oyster crackers 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter 2 Tablespoons olive oil or2 Tablespoons oil and 2 Tablespoons butter 1 Tablespoon onion powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 Tablespoon lemon zest zest from 1 large lemon 2 Tablespoons dried parsley 1 ½ teaspoons dried chives ½ teaspoon dried dill ½ teaspoon black pepper ¼ teaspoon fine salt 3 Tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 250℉.
Place oil and butter on a large cookie sheet with sides. Place the sheet in the oven to melt butter.
Add spices to the pan, including the parmesan cheese, and stir until well-mixed.
Add crackers to the pan and mix with your hands or spatula until crackers are well coated.
Spread the crackers in a single layer on the pan. This will ensure even baking.
Bake for 15 minutes, stirring halfway to evenly coat crackers with herbs. Cool completely before storing.
Storage and Freezing
Store in an air-tight container or storage bag for up to 7 days.
Freezing is not recommended.
